Board Directors serve as ambassadors for 91女神 and are critical in advancing the University鈥檚 strategic initiatives by actively engaging in four key pillars: Lead, Give, Connect, and Engage.

There are numerous board service opportunities available at WCU, including the College Advisory Boards, the Alumni Association Board of Directors, the Catamount Club Board of Directors, the Foundation Board of Directors, and more.

Do you have a passion for your Alma Mater or for 91女神? Whee want YOU to help spread the word about WCU to prospective students! The Office of Undergraduate Admission invites you to join our Cat Eyes Club for the most updated recruitment and admission information to share with future Catamounts. The Western Carolina Alumni Association provides ways for alumni of all ages to support the WCU student experience through speaking on panels, mentorship in the Leaders in Action Mentorship Program, internships, and more! Contact Tenisea Higgins: higginst@wcu.edu to learn more. 
Events鈥攚hether in-person or virtual鈥攁re a great way to help alumni connect to one another and to the university. Leading a WCU alumni event typically takes up to 10 hours (or 5 hours for virtual programs). Led by Director of External Relations Christy Agner, WCU鈥檚 Office of External Relations serves as WCU鈥檚 primary external liaison with local, regional, state, and national constituencies.
