Academic programs are designed to cultivate exceptional health professionals through the thoughtful and intentional curricular design of each program, including lab experiences, internships, clinical education, and capstone projects. Explore Our Programs
Athletic Trainers (ATs) are healthcare professionals who provide patient-centered care in collaboration with a physician. As part of the healthcare team, services provided by ATs include injury and illness prevention, wellness promotion and education, emergent care, examination and clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. The Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program is a 2-year program preparing gradutes to be professionally engaged while delivering high quality patient-centered care as athletic trainers. Environmental Health recognizes that our well-being depends upon our social and physical environment, as well as our lifestyle. The Environmental Health Program is focused on the protection of human health from biological, chemical, and physical hazards in the environment. Graduates of the department are highly trained scientists and professionals capable of identifying and measuring environmental hazards and effective management and control of those hazards.
