The curriculum provides a strong foundation in mathematics, science, and engineering principles, augmented by specialized mechanical engineering courses. The program combines the strengths of a traditional engineering education鈥攕uch as sustainability, design, and systems analysis鈥攚ith extensive hands-on laboratory and real-world experience. The focus is on project-based learning and close faculty-student interaction. We believe successful engineers need a broad base of technical skills to meet the challenges of the future. Graduates are prepared to succeed in the engineering workforce or pursue graduate degrees for deeper expertise.
Experience hands-on, project-based learning (PBL) from your first semester. You鈥檒l develop skills in materials science and machine elements, 3D computer-aided design (CAD) and simulation, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, and static and dynamic systems.
