Business Skills That Fit Your Life - Coming Spring 2027
Not sure a full MBA is the right fit, but still want to build your business skills?
The Graduate Certificate in Applied Business Fundamentals (ABFC) offers a focused,
flexible option for working professionals seeking a foundation in key business disciplines
without committing to a full master’s degree. Available starting Spring 2027.
The ABFC provides a comprehensive introduction to accounting, economics, business
analytics, and human resource management, helping students develop the knowledge,
perspective, and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in today's dynamic workplace.
Whether preparing for career advancement, transitioning into business-related roles,
or pursuing graduate study, students gain the business acumen needed for continued
professional and academic success.
Upon completion of the ABFC, you will have the option to enroll in the Graduate Certificate
in Strategic Foundational Leadership (SFLC), also coming Spring 2027. Or maybe you
decided the MBA is the right fit, and all four courses completed in the ABFC will
transfer into the MBA as long as a grade of B or better was earned in the courses.
Upon completion of the SFLC, you will have earned two graduate certificates. If you
decide now is the time to enroll in the MBA program, all eight courses can transfer
into the program as long as a grade of B or better was earned in the courses. If all
eight courses transfer into the program, you will only be required to complete four
elective courses to finish the MBA program and graduate with your degree.
The ABFC and SFLC will be available as early as Spring 2027. To review more information
on the programs, including applciation requirements, please visit the program websites.
