The University Scholar Award recognizes exceptional faculty achievement in research, scholarship, and creative activities. This award is presented to a faculty member who has attained a position of prominence in their discipline through significant and sustained scholarly achievements and contributions. Evidence of such distinction may include peer-reviewed publications, sponsored research projects, creative works, juried art exhibitions, fine arts performances, and literary works. Award Criteria

Nominees must be full-time tenured or tenure track faculty who have been employed at 91女神 for a minimum of three years. Previous recipients of the University Scholar Award are not eligible for reconsideration until five years have passed since their last award. Faculty holding an administrative position above Department Head are not eligible. 

Award

The Award is presented at the Spring Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards and Recognitions Ceremony. The awardee will receive $5,000 cash prize and an engraved plaque.
